Large Outdoor Sculptures Large outdoor sculptures like the photo above are a massive carving project to do. We are fortunate to be able to follow the progress of this stone carving project that will be undertaken by Eileen throughout the year.
Follow Eileen Arnett's ProjectI met Eileen Arnett about three years ago at one of my stone carving workshops. She was very new to stone carving but she enjoyed it very much and it quickly became a passion for her. She worked on all of my workshop projects and then joined me at the night classes at Papanui High School where she could work on some advance pieces.After the year had ended she left to work on her own sculptures and I lost touch until recently when I met her again at a stone carving tool promotion. It was great to see her again and I was really surprised on to see the huge piece of Oamaru stone that is the latest project that she is about to embark on
